Last Chance to submit your DOT Med Cert

The state’s deadline for your DOT Medical Certification is May 31, 2021. This means that the Department of Licensing must have received, reviewed, and electronically approved your DOT Medical Certification by May 31 if your certification expired on or after December 1, 2020.

Greetings Community Transit Colleagues,

We continue to monitor COVID-19-related metrics across Snohomish County and the state, including vaccination rates. The encouraging news is COVID-19 case counts appear to be flattening and the number of people vaccinated continues to climb. Combined, this data indicates we’ve entered a period of stabilization over the last few days. We expect to hear from Governor Inslee early next week as to whether our County will remain in Phase 3.

We are returning to in-person Charter Meetings starting Sunday, May 16th. We will follow all CDC guidelines including mandatory masks and physical distancing while in the building.

Sat, May 15th from 10am to 8pm at her home. Come by and share a story with friends and family. Potluck style, bring a dish or drink to share.
Please see the posting at base for the address.

With great sadness, we must inform you off the passing of one of our own, Sister Ronda Stracqualursi.  She had been a Coach Operator at Community Transit for the last 12 years.  Ronda was well known and loved by all of us who worked with her, and she will be greatly missed. Our hearts are with her husband Paolo, her family and friends. As information becomes available about services, we will keep you informed.  There will be grief counsellors available at CT base for those who need additional support.

We will be holding our May Charter meetings in-person starting on Sun, May 16th and Tue, May 18th.  These meetings will be held following all CDC guidelines concerning mask wearing and physical distancing. We will be making the determination on a month-to-month basis following all CDC, State and County guidelines.

My most recent message to you regarding temporary COVID-19 Premium Pay indicated my intent to bring it to end May 1, subject to continuous monitoring and review of our progress gaining control over the virus. The variety of metrics from we monitor from Snohomish County and the state are showing COVID-19 case rates continue to rise in Snohomish County and are now back at levels last seen in January.
