I am honored to be the FInancial Secretary Treasurer of ATU Local 1576.  I have a background in business and financial stewardship experience, combined with an in-depth knowledge of labor union work.  I believe that our members' hard earned participation in this local deserves a representative who is trustworty, knowledgeable and responsible.  My primary focus in this position is to ensure the financial stability and accountability of our local going forward, so that we may best safeguard the rights and interests of all our members. 

My qualifications include:

• Working as a member of the Amalgamated Transit Union for over 29 years
• Serving this local as a union representative for 22 years, including Executive Board Officer, Vice President and Chief Shop Steward
• Negotiating with our ATU team for seven contracts, including both public and private sector agencies, as well as fixed route and para-transit properties
• Successful financial stewardship of our family-owned businesses for over 20 years
• Sending two children through college on the wages I earned as a driver at Community Transit
