ATU Local 1576 Bargaining Update

Dear ATU Siblings,

Your bargaining team, including President Jas Bains, VP Lela Perkins, Financial Secretary Dan Harlan, Recording Secretary Risë Gamble; E-Board members Max Lall, Eric Sullivan, Rachel Villa, and International Vice President Michael Cornelius had a very productive meeting with Community Transit management representatives.

We addressed Articles 28 (Customer Information Specialist); 29 (Sales and Distribution Specialist); 30 (Facilities Maintenance); and 32 (Service Ambassadors). We were joined by Danny Love (CIS); Cassidy Gamble (S&D); Jesse Cain (Facilities); and Alex Arellano (Service Ambassadors) as Subject Matter Experts for their departments. We were able to agree on many components of each of the articles, with proposals and counter proposals exchanged.

Our next meeting will be March 5, where we will be focusing on Dispatch, Training, and our addition of Technology Expert in Facilities.
