My most recent message to you regarding temporary COVID-19 Premium Pay indicated my intent to bring it to end May 1, subject to continuous monitoring and review of our progress gaining control over the virus. The variety of metrics from we monitor from Snohomish County and the state are showing COVID-19 case rates continue to rise in Snohomish County and are now back at levels last seen in January.

Greetings Community Transit Colleagues,

I’m pleased to share that this Thursday, April 15, all employees will be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. Since mid-March, more than 70% of our employees have been eligible for the vaccine. Many of you have already received your first or even second dose.

The training will take place on April 17, 2021 from 10 am to 2 pm, with a 30-minute break for lunch at noon.

We have mailed you a packet of information, which will arrive in the next few days, to refer to after the training.

If you have any questions, please call the Union Hall.

Beginning today, employees who qualify under Washington State’s Phase 1B, Tier 2 are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.

Phase 1B, Tier 2 includes transit employees who work within 6 feet of other people (workers or customers) for more than 3 hours a day. We have evaluated positions at Community Transit and have determined this includes:
